Why not get a bit more use out of the ordinary name tag that your employees and staff members wear? A great additional use of name tags is by recognizing your staff for various achievements.
Below are a few suggestions that you might find helpful:
- Recognize your staff members for years of service. Have the years of service put on the very bottom of the name tag – Such as – Since 1982 or 10 Years of Outstanding Service
- How about “Employee of the Month” – Create a special badge each month for those achievers.
- Use color to recognize different levels of achievement – such as sales or accreditation levels.
- Come up with unique titles like – King of Customer Service!
- How about “Perfect Attendance – 6 months, 1 year etc. Attendance is always a problem – so recognize attendance achievements.
We are sure there are quite a few more that we have not thought of, but if you think about it you can get a lot more out of a simple name tag. Most employees just want a nice pat on the back for a job well done – to know that someone cares that they are actually doing a good job! Name tags are a cheap effective way to recognize your staff members and their achievements.
