• Metal company id badges - When you want a very upscale employee name tag, metal badges are the tag of choice. This badge is made from a.020 aluminum material with your information thermally imprinted into the name tag. This type imprinting allows you to have your multicolor logo imprinted in small or large quantities. Imprinted names also tend to be much more readable than an engraved name.

• Engraved company id badges - For years the engraved employee name tag has been the standard name tag of choice for businesses. This type badge is composed of a multi-surface laminate plastic that when you engrave through the surface a contrasting letter color is reveled. Engraved name tags are very attractive and professional looking however the imprinting is a two color process - a letter/logo color and the badge surface color. So if you want a multi color logo imprint you will need to select either our full color or metal name tags.

• Full color company id badges- When you want to print your company logo or design in multicolor, but you want your tags to be plastic, this is your name badge product. The plastic used in this product is 1/16" thick and your image is thermally imprinted into the badge. The imprint color is vibrant and extremely durable.

OK now that you have decided on the material you want to use on your employee name tags, you now need to select the backing that goes on the tag. This can be just as important as the type tag you choose.

• Magnetic - That's right -magnetic, the best invention since fire (well, I am kind of partial to ice cream as the greatest invention but that is just me). Magnetic name have a metal strip on the back of the badge with a removable magnetic backing. You place the magnet behind your clothes and the name badge in the front and voile - the tag is attached without sticking a hole in your clothes. • Bulldog clip - this type badge holder clips your tag onto your clothes by way of - you guessed it - a bulldog clip! This type attachment is somewhat popular, and better yet it does not pierce your clothes.
